Silver Buckle
So we took Jazzy out to the ranch yesterday, and we all fell in love with the ranch, the animals and the people there. We got a complete tour, and met most of the animals, and Jasmine got to brush the sweetest mini horse named Buttons. Buttons seemed to really like Jasmine. She kept rubbing her head on her, lovin on her and nibbling on her jacket sleeve. Jasmine also got to lead Buttons on a walk. She gets to start her program on saturday. Jasmine is so excited. She will get to do so many amazing things there. She will learn everything about horses, caring for them, riding etc. She will get to learn to ride bulls, rope bulls, herd in the cows. She will also get to learn all about rodeo stuff. She will get to plant vegetable and flower gardens. Kim, the amazing director, was telling Jasmine all about what they do there, and about the animals, and when Jasmine was brushing Buttons, she told Jasmine that the horses can sense when your sad or heart hurts, and that they want to take that on for you, so you can feel happy and at peace. She said "Thats why she's lovin on you so much, she wants you to smile" After we were done with Buttons, Jasmine and Bryan went to the truck, and I went into the office to get all of the paperwork. I had a good talk with Kim about the program, and Jasmine's story. She told me that the program was technically full, but that she knew after meeting Jasmine, that she needed to be there, so they are making room for her. I got pretty emotional while we were out there. Jasmine was so happy, and seeing her with Buttons brought tears to my eyes. She hasnt stopped talking about it since we left, and cant wait until saturday. I am so excited for her, and so grateful to Kim, and the ranch for accepting Jasmine into the program!
