A few better days

So things have been okay lately.   Jasmine hasn't had any issues at school since the "pushing incident".   We had a conference with her teacher, and she is doing very good in school.  She showed us her work, and where she is currently compared to where she is supposed to be by the end of the year.  Im not sure what it all means, but the bench mark for end of the year is 75 in all subjects.  Jasmine is between 63-68 right now.  So she gave us somethings to work on at home to keep her busy, challenged and interested.  She is going to have things for her to do in her down time at school as well. Although we had a few issues in the beginning, things are going great for her at school.   We have had some rough patches this month, but we have had many good days, so I am very thankful for that.

So Bryan's work is having open enrollment for health insurance at his work right now.  After much deliberation, we have decided to switch insurances.  I am a little nervous, but I am very hopeful to be able to find a good counselor for Jasmine.  We will have many more options and a lower co-pay (YAY!!!).  I would give anything to find a good fit for her.  Even if that means saying good-bye to my doctors.

Her 9th birthday is next week.  We are very busy with Halloween festivities and Birthday celebrations.  She is having a Rockstar birthday party, complete with karaoke and dancing!  I hope she has the best time. She deserves it.
